Keynote Reflection

The assignment was to make a keynote to go with our memoir presentations. This assignment was for Digital Media class. The purpose of this assignment was to add a digital effect to our memoir presentations. We had to choose one or two pictures that relates to our paragraphs in our memoirs. The essential question I addressed was Creative Expression. I used this by choosing pictures I thought addressed my paragraph and looked creative as well.
My first step in completing my keynote was going to Google to look for pictures that represented my memoir well. After I got the pictures I wanted I had to cite my image by entering the title, web site, and date. After I got my pictures and wrote my citations I put effects into my keynote to make it different from everyone else's.
The thing I did the best on was finding decent pictures. I think I chose nice sized and interesting pictures. I know I did this well because I am proud of myself. I wouldn't be proud of myself if I thought I did a crappy job. I am very proud of my final piece of my memoir. When I first started out on writing it, I wasn't sure if I could do it but I still knew I couldn't give up. I am proud of my introductory paragraph the most because I love my opening sentence in it. I gave the reader a clue what my story was going to be about without spoiling the story.
The most challenging part of this assignment was actually figuring out what I was going to be writing about. I was completely clueless about that from when I first found out about the assignment. To overcome that challenge I couldn't help but to think about it 24/7. I spent a lot of my time wondering if I had anything interesting to write about. I guess doing so helped me to figure out what to write about because eventually it came to me. I am not sure how I could have avoided this situation. Maybe by becoming more interesting? To possibly make my memoir better I would change my conclusion up a bit. I would do so by adding other lessons I learned and being more detailed about them.
The leadership skill it show that I can do is Solve Problems Resourcefully. This skill puts your problem solving skills to use. If you can do this skill, you can fix any problem you may have encountered and fix it like it never happened, on time and looking great without giving up. While doing my project I had trouble finding pictures that went well with my paragraphs. In time, after searching and searching I finally found some an I did not give up. I did not know that all along I was putting the wrong URL address in the MLA citation slide. I had to do most of my URL's all over again. I was mortified but I did not stop, I eventually fixed all the errors. This project showed my growth in these subjects because sometimes while doing certain projects I would get irritated and would want to give up. Preparing my keynote, I did get irritated and frustrated but the only different thing was is that I did not give up.
